It’s officially Christmas season. I’m neck deep in Christmas music, hot cider, and old Christmas movies with jazzy soundtracks. Despite my heightened awareness of how single I am, I quite enjoy this atmosphere. It’s all so very hopeful.
Last night I had the great luck to take some back stage photos at 54 Below for the HIT LIST concert. Here is one of those pictures–Jeremy Jordan and Krysta Rodriguez having fun at the piano before places! (x)

Christian and Laura. Damn, so much feels from their performance in the NBC live television production of The Sound of Music. Bravo!

This song was originally in Wicked, but was ultimately replaced by The Wizard and I. I adore them both, but this one seems to make Elphaba’s story even more fabulously tragic, does it not? She had hopes and dreams of becoming even GREATER than the Wizard now that she was finally out from under her father’s thumb. ALL SQUANDERED. Gorgeous.
